Bruker Alicona, a subsidiary of Bruker, a company with more than 11 000 employees at over 90 locations is seeking an Software Test Engineer for our team in Graz / Raaba.
YOUR MISSION
- Build quality into the software product from the beginning, not only before release
- Create confidence in release quality through continuous validation and transparent quality signals.
- Act as a quality advocate within an agile, cross-functional development team
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- Define test strategies for new features and product changes.
- Perform systems test (hard- and software) of new products and developments with focusing effort on high-impact areas.
- Design and execute functional, integration, system and regression tests.
- Create and maintain automated tests for fast feedback in CI/CD pipelines.
- Review requirements and improve acceptance criteria before implementation starts.
- Ensure features are testable, traceable and aligned with customer expectations.
- Analyse test results and communicate quality risks to stakeholders.
- Document defects with clear evidence, reproducible steps and business impact.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation and quality practices.
YOUR QUALIFICATIONS
- HTL diploma, university degree in a technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Several years of experience in software testing, QA, or quality engineering.
- Expertise in test automation and modern quality assurance practices.
- Solid understanding of API, integration, and system testing.
- Experience working test automation in CI/CD environments and with quality metrics.
- Hands-on experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Ranorex, Squish, or similar.
- Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills with a continuous improvement mindset.
- Strong knowledge of software testing methodologies and quality assurance principles.
- Ability to design, execute, and review test cases, test strategies, and test reports.
- Familiarity with API, integration, system, and end-to-end testing.
- Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Proactive team player who promotes quality as a shared responsibility and continuously improves testing practices.

- The collective agreement minimum salary in Austria is €3.267 gross per month (38.5 hours/week). We offer a competitive salary package and are willing to provide a higher compensation depending on qualifications and professional experience. Details can be discussed during the interview process.
