We are currently seeking an experienced design engineer (m/f/d).


RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Collaborating on the development of innovative high-tech products in the field of optical metrology
  • Designing and developing new components and assemblies with a focus on precision and functionality
  • Supporting the entire hardware development process—from the initial concept to successful transition to series production
  • Tackling diverse technical challenges in interdisciplinary projects
  • Working with state-of-the-art optical 3D measurement systems and innovative technologies
  • Collaborating closely with development, production, and other departments to implement new solutions
  • Opportunity to contribute your own ideas and actively participate in the further development of our products


QUALIFICATIONS

  • A completed technical degree (university or university of applied sciences) in mechanical engineering, mechatronics, precision engineering, or comparable training
  • Several years of experience in the design and development of mechanical components and assemblies
  • Very good knowledge of 3D CAD systems (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, Inventor, or Siemens NX)
  • Experience in the product development process from concept through prototyping to production readiness
  • Technical understanding of precision mechanics, optical systems, or measurement technology is a plus
  • An independent, structured approach to work and a passion for collaborating in interdisciplinary teams
